InterAmerica Technology Services (IAT) offers its economically advantageous gasification technology as the practical solution to the global issue of industrial, municipal and medical waste disposal.
Our low temperature gasification process cost effectively reduces the waste stream and harmful greenhouse gas emissions generally associated with incineration and land filling, while at the same time allowing the end user to generate a variety of forms of energy for a wide range of uses.
IAT has developed a low cost gasification system that is site-specific designed and built. The technology allows for development of small, compact, portable or stationary units to process from 2 to 20 tons of waste daily. Large systems for processing up to 1000 tons a day can be designed to operate 24/7 to provide a continuous sustainable energy source.
Our gasification technology offers a batch system for process feeding that eliminates the need to sort and/or pre-process waste. However, it can be designed to accommodate the need of a given site to pre-sort the waste. The recyclables, including aluminum and glass, are sterile and preserved for immediate recycling at the end of the process. Combustibles, including paper and plastics, are eliminated without harmful environmental emissions.
The gasification process reduces and converts organic matter into its basic components of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, i.e. syngas, which can then be preserved as a secondary revenue source or converted into energy. Our technology recovers energy from solid waste gasification and converts it into heat or electricity. This system meets or exceeds all current EPA, Canadian and Mexican emission standards for waste gasification.
